Figure Skating Information
Figure skating sessions are offered 6 days a week. Oilers Ice Center hosts freestyle sessions, power classes, as well as additional group classes. Private lessons are available during any freestyle session. Freestyle sessions and classes are limited to 20 skaters and are first come, first serve.
 
Pricing:
            Walk on Rates:             1 hour session - $8.50
                                                45-minute session - $6.50
                                                30-minute group class - $10.00
            Contract Rates:             1 hour session - $7.50
                                                45-minute session - $5.75
                                                30-minute class - $8.50
 
Monthly figure skating contracts are available. Contracts require a monthly commitment in order receive a discount. Please read the contract policies below for more information.
 
CONTRACT POLICIES:
  1. Monthly contracts are due by the close of business on the 30th of the preceding month. LATE CONTRACTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
  2. Contract ice time is first come, first serve. Skaters requesting sessions that are full will be notified and offered a transfer or credit.
  3. One session transfer is allowed per skater per month providing a) the session is transferred within the current contract month b) the transfer request is made in writing to the Skating Director two hours prior to the cancelled session. Session transfers are at the discretion of the Skating Director.
  4. Refunds and credits will not be given for any unused sessions. However, skaters medically required to refrain from skating, due to injury, may request credit for unused sessions during their term of injury providing a) the request is made in writing to the Skating Director no more than 24-hours after injury b) a medical note/receipt is submitted with the request. Refunds and credits are at the discretion of the Skating Director.
  5. Skaters attending sessions beyond those contracted will be charged the current walk-on rate.
  6. Oilers Ice Center reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions that do not fill. Refunds and credits will be given for sessions cancelled by Oilers Ice Center.
  7. Contracts will only be accepted when accompanied by full payment and the waiver/release of liability has been signed.
